At A+ Handpiece Repair, a high-speed turbine rebuild is a flat $99 with a 6-month warranty, and a full overhaul is $179 with a 1-year warranty. Slow-speed and electric handpieces are quoted before work begins.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. There is no diagnostic fee and shipping is free both ways. If a repair costs more than the flat price, we call you for approval first.
Is it cheaper to repair or replace a handpiece?
Repair is almost always cheaper. A $99 rebuild or $179 overhaul costs a fraction of a new high-speed handpiece. Replacement only makes sense when the body or head is cracked or parts are discontinued.
Do the prices change by brand?
No. High-speed rebuild and overhaul pricing is the same for KaVo, NSK, Midwest, Star, Bien-Air, Sirona, W&H, A-dec, and Henry Schein handpieces.
